HOLMBERG CLOCKWORKS is pleased to show the latest adventure in the design and building of contemporary versions of historic Musical Clocks. The Holmberg Clockworks Model G-27 is such an instrument designed as a table model, all controls are located at the reverse of the instrument, in the genre of the early Musical Clocks of centuries past that did not include a clock dial face as part of these unique instruments.

The Model G-27 table top Musical clock is available in North American walnut or Honduran mahogany, or other hardwoods by special arrangement. High quality organ pipes are custom built for each clock in England and receive their final voicing, finishing, tonal regulation and tuning as we install them into the instrument.

This Musical Clock is furnished with the complete 32 Haydn Musical Clock compositions. The Owner may purchase many more time to time from our Music Library. Music is performed as shown in the specifications below and Westminster Chimes is standard with every Holmberg Musical Clock.

The instrument casework is hand crafted from 5/4 and 6/4 first grade hardwoods. Internal braces, cleats and support members are hand made from the finest bird’s eye maple from the forests of Northern Michigan. A particular hallmark of Holmberg Musical Clocks is that the interior finishing is always as professional as the exterior.

Several features are prominent with the Model G-27: As with some of the early musical clocks of the eighteenth century, there is no dial face. The Musical Clock plays automatically as controlled by its onboard computer, at the frequency selected by the Owner as often as desired. A second unique feature is that all of the controls are located at the back of the instrument. These are: the disk drive, interface keyboard, the lighted LCD showing all operations, the demo switch, etc.
